Question

Help with SOL

What is the name of your state?OR
I live in Oregon with a SOL of 6yrs on CC. I have not had/used/or paid on a CC for over three years. The credit cards that I used to have were from another state that has a 3 year SOL.

Which state does my SOL fall under for any cards, the one I now reside in, or the one I was issued cards and used cards in?

My response:

The SOL is in the State where the card was used; i.e., each time you use the card you create a new contract and where the contract is made is the controlling SOL.

I have a company trying to sue me. (I have to now go to arbitration)
Even though I have requested proof of this debt being mine since nothing was attached to a summons, (and I don't remember having this card) they have failed to supply information regarding proof of this even being my card.

Even if it was mine can they sue me in Oregon now, since the SOL would have run out in the state I one lived before moving?
Thanks
