I loaned a friend

I loaned a friend in Idaho $500.00 payable with in one year on paper ,she has sinced moved to utah and hasnt responed to my email for payment so i sent her a certified letter demanding payment ! My questions are these ,

Do i take her to small claims in idaho where the loan was made or utah where she now lives? Or should i take any other actions?

Take her to court where you live or where the loan was consumated.

And STOP LOANING FRIENDS MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
