I Need Help

What is the name of your state? PA
I am having a problem with a creditor... this is for a computer.. they are based in NY ..He and his company are harrassing me during work hours. I was on vac from June 30th to July 5. When I returned my supervisor informed me that there was someone calling me from the Phila county sherriff's office... she also told them that they were to contact me at my home not at my job... On Tuesday July 6 I filed two complaints against them with the attorney generals office.thur their web site. as of yet I have not heard anything..but meanwhile..I was told by this company that they had a court order so that they could enter my home and take out what they wanted that would amt to 3000. so that his client could get paid...said that they could garnish 65% of my pay.. keeps calling my job regardless of what was told to them..now he is calling my coworkers to get to me...I dont get any calls at home ... just when i get to work.. I am going to apply for Chapter 13 or 7

You didn't ask a question, but if you want them to stop calling you at work just tell them to stop and if they don't comply, tell them that they are violating the FDCPA. If they tell you that it does not apply to them because they are the OC, explain that the State of PA includes OCs in their FDCPA laws.

I don't know if that is all that you are asking because you didn't make it clear.

OC=Original Creditor

What is unclear is that your original post is telling a story, but you never clarified what your actual question(s) is/are. I had to guess.

I have a question about your problem. I am from Maryland and I do not believe that someone can take a case like this to court without notice to you.
I would like to know if a ceditor can do this. If anyone out there knows please reply.
