I'm confusedWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana My husband received a collection letter in the mail over the weekend for a medical bill incurred in October 2004. I pulled his credit report this morning, and it says that it was discharged in Chapter 13 bankruptcy. This case was dismissed last year, but I'm not sure if any money was actually paid to this creditor. When I send the validation letter, can I include this status, or should I contact Experian and have them look into it? |
