Maryland
Our homeowners association is trying to collect past due quarterly fees from some residents. We just got a judgement in our favor in small claims court.
Now, the district court post-judgement collection handbook says that to start the collection process we have to submit up to 15 "written interrogatories in aid of execution" to the defendant about his/her finances and property. It also says to choose the questions carefully, because we only get one chance to submit the questions, after which the defendant gets 15 days to answer.
The handbook offers no other guidance or samples of what those questions should be, other than saying to include bank accounts, employment, personal property, and real estate.
We certainly want to get it right the first (and only) time.
What would be the most comprehensive set of no more than 15 questions?
