judgement and bankruptcyWhat is the name of your state? new jersey A judgment was entered against me for 125k because of a dog bite. I receive SSI, I dont have any property and own a 1981 truck that barely runs. Will i be able to file for bankruptcy with this matter? |

| YES you can file for bankruptcy and that judgment can and will be included ! Consult with a couple of BK attorneys to determine the dischargeability of the debt though. If you're on SSI with no assets, you may not really need to file for bankruptcy.

| Your dog must have done some serious damage to someone. But I also don't much see the point in declaring bankruptcy, unless there's a possibility that your money situation will change at some point in the future. |
