Judgement Collection

Hi, I recently won a small claims court judgement against a NY corporation whom which was a contractor at my home and screwed up his work, in the amount of $3,000.00

However when it came to collect the judgement, I decided to supina the corporation for it's asset information, the judge signed the order, and the party was given a date to appear in court with the papers, however they did not appear the first time around, they then relized that they may have sent the papers to a wrong address, a new date was then sent and the party did accept the certified letter, however again did not appear at that date, now they are telling me that the judge wrote in the file to schedule a trial date?? does anyone understand why this is happening?? I was first told that they will issue a warrant against this person if he does not show up, now I am getting this run around from the court???
