Judgement in NV

What is the name of your state? Nevada

My ex wife had a car repossesed about 13 years ago that was in my name in LA CA. I was in a bad place for some time and I was unable to take care of the repo. About a year ago there was a judgement filed against me in NV for the car. The judgement was filed for $x,xxx.xx amount of dollars against me about a year ago. The lawyers office sent the paperwork to my work and they proceeded to take out 25% of my paycheck, the amount of owed started to go down. Then they advised me thqat the order for garnishment has expired and my accounting dept returned some money back to me. Just about 2 months ago they started back up on the 25% and now the amount is upt like $5000 over the original amount and my acct dept told me that they are going to take the money out of my paycheck until it is paid off with interest.

My question is if the judgment was foor x amount of dollars, can they charge interest? At the rate the law firm is charging interest and fees, the 25% of my pay will never pay this debt off. Is this legal? Is there anyway to fight this, statute of limitations, amount of judgement, anything at all?

Thanks Everyone, especially the lawyers.
