judgement question

What is the name of your state? TN

I just learned of a judgement against us in 2000 for a credit card debt. we were never served a summons. is this legal?

Check your state statutes for service. In some states, they can post the service in the local newspaper. You can also check with the county courthouse for the file to see if service is noted in the files.
