judgement question

What is the name of your state? MO

an ex friend filed a judgement against me 2 years ago. I did owe her the money but we had a verbal agreement to pay when I could, but she got mad about something else and sent me to court in retaliation. whatever. I didn't care. I told the judge that I owed her money. I could've lied, especially since my mother was at court, it would've been 2 against 1. but i was honest.

so anyway, she collected a portion of it by garnishing my wages. then she lost interest in her beef with me and let it go. I've also somewhat mended fences, and have been a customer at her bar for over a year, and have spent almost $1500. I only owe her $555.

Can i file a release of that judgement, and consider her profits from me as satisfying the debt?

Nope, not at all. Silly question. Spending money at her bar has nothing to do with owing a debt. You could have spend money at another bar.

re:

i knew it was a longshot, but it was worth a try.

What would I need to present to the court when I am ready to file a release of judgement?

YOU don't file a release of judgment. The creditor files it when the judgment has been satisfied.
