What is the name of your state? MA

I just received a bill in the mail from Financial Credit Services in Palatine, IL claiming I owe Norwest Financial (who I have never heard of before today) $10,833.92. I have no idea what they are talking about. While granted I may have some past debts, I have never had debt in this amount in my life. I'm tempted to call them, but I do not want them to access to any phone I use. I don't know where they got my name or address, but I don't want to dragged into court for money I don't owe. Does anyone know what my options are and could this possibly be identity theft. Thanks for any iadvice.

The only way to find out what this is from is to contact them. They have your address, they'll get your phone number eventually, it's only a matter of time. Send a validation request to the CA.
