Late fee

What is the name of your state?Australia
I received a $750 late fee on a video recently, however in the entire time it was out, I never received any kind of notification or reminder about the video. Also, when I finally did received something from them yesterday, it stated that my bill was about $450, and that further action would be taken, should I fail to pay this fee. When I went to the store to discuss this, the bill suddenly became $750. I think that this inconcistency, and failure to send any notification or even call, on their part makes this bill somewhat invalid. Can they pursue legal action?

They are not obligated to. You were obligated to return the video

You are, of course, still wrong. And yes they can ake legal action.

Sorry, US LAW ONLY!!

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
