Is this legal

What is the name of your state? TX

Can a debt collector provide information to someone other than the credit card holder? meaning - say my husband? I have a card in my name only - and if they provided information on my account to him - is that legal? do I have any rights with them for providing information to him? - thanks

Yes it is legal. No you don't have any recourse.

Yup he's right

(d) For the purpose of this section, the term "consumer" includes the consumer's spouse, parent (if the consumer is a minor), guardian, executor, or administrator.
