is this legal?!?


What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?california
i was behind on my car payments and i knew the car was in repo status, on day at my door there was a note that said u need to call the bank asap with a 1800 # so i called and made payment araigments witch was one payment of 600 the next day n the rest in 2 wks with them n they said they will call off the repo poeple so i made the first payment the nxt day, well b4 i could make the 2nd payment as promised the repo people showed up the night b4 and took the car when i called the bank the nxt day they had no record of me callin or any araigments with them nut they did recieved the $600 payment well i ended finding out that the 1800 # on the note was not the bank but the repo people prentending to be the bank now if i had made payment araigments with the sopposed to be bank can they do that is that legal for some one to inpersanat the bank n accept payment araigments from me and still repo the car after they accepted and i was compling without the bank even knowing this was happening? thx

I'm sorry guys, but I just can't help myself on this.

This has to be the longest, most run-on sentence I've seen in all my years. Throw in bad grammar, misspellings and horrible use of capitalization. Boy we've got a winner here.

Now..is someone besides me going to tell the OP he's SOL

With just the facts given, I'd say that the OP at the least has an FDCPA claim against the repo company. They failed to provide the required disclaimers and notices when demanding payment arrangements.

This might be worth a trip to a consumer law specialist.
