Live in Texas but received a citation from Louisiana Court

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
I live in texas but received a Citation from Louisiana.
Its from a debt collector regarding my Default credit card.
I have been in touch with a debt negotiation company.
I have 5 cards and they have negotiated 4 CC's till now and I paid them.
And I am sued for the 5th card. My Debt Negotiation Company is ok with it.
But I am worried. I have been reading that Once it goes to court, The Debt collector wont negotiate..Is that true.
I am ready to pay the negotiated amount.
Do I need to contact the Court of Louisiana before my negotiation company deals with it.
What should I do now, give me suggestions

Please advice me on this.

Should I reply to the court summons or my debt negotiation company will handle this.
How does it work.
I am not sure...I just don't want to disturb my life anymore.
I am ready to pay but do I need to pay attorney fees and other costs too or else Is it just what I owe.

debt negotiation company = scam.

You should be on top of this and handling it. At this point you will have to pay attorney fees and court costs as well as the original debt plus interest.
