Medical Bill Collections in FloridaWhat is the name of your state? Florida Is there a statue of limitations on medical bills (not workers' comp) in the state of Florida? My sister many years ago had no medical insurance and no job and states she went to court over it and due to these facts, she thought they dropped the bill or wrote it off. ??? She after many years received a letter from an attorney asking for copies of her pay stubs and what she owns, etc. Is there a statue of limitations? Does she have to provide this information they are requesting? Suggestions? |

| I'd be willing to bet they did. However, FL recently changed its laws on judgments and if an old judgment was re-filed by a deadline (recently), then the judgment goes D-E-A-D.
