Need help

What is the name of your state? Florida

I receive a check from my deceased husband. VA, he was retired army 20 yrs. I get money for spouse and aid & attendance. Since moving to Fl. things went down hill and I couldn't pay my credit card bills. I am trying to pay 2 but I have a few others. It looks like with their interest rate ( collection co.) I will never pay these 2 off.
What I am worried about is if they can take part of my check? This is the only income I have. I am severely disabled MS, Fibromayalgia , severe back injury. S.S.I. declared me disabled years ago.
Should I go to court when I get summons from the court from the credit cards? I have nothing, no car and home. I am renting an apt.
I am worried and stressed about this. I can't pay even a little bit with the little income I have to any one of them any more. My rent has went up over 200 in the last few years.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
