Need Help

I recently received a letter from Buffaloe and Associates in Nashville ,TN about an old debt.

Now it is my understanding that the Statute of Limitations in TN is 6yrs. I checked my credit report about this account and it stated that my last payment on the account was June of 2002 , this is also the date given for the date of deliquency. The only other date given was the date of major deliquency which was January of 2003. I feel that this account has reached its SOL.

I need advice on how to deal with this situation. Thank You
