What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Mississippi

Is it true that a judgement can be placed against you with no notification in the state of Mississippi?

I would call the court and ask for a copy of the judgment and see when and where you were served. If the address they used was wrong, you may be able to file a motion to vacate the judgment. Please note that they may refile and come back after you if you do this but they will have to use the correct address this time.
