non suitWhat is the name of your state? TN RE: A questionable CC debt with last activity 7-2001 I was summoned to civil court in TN by the CA, issued a denial to them and the court as well as a certified letter requesting debt validation. This is the 3rd CA that has pursued this alledged debt. The case was subsequently non suited by the plaintiff's attorney. I guess they could not/would not gather evidence to support their claim. My questions.. ...how likely will the debt be sold and further pursued? The SOL is July '07...and if it is, would claiming the debt was non suited by the last plaintiff discourage the new CA? Also, is the SOL til July 31st, '07? or, what date officially would constitute an SOL defense? Thanks for your knowledge! |

| Actually, if the last activity was 7/2001, then the SOL will not expire until the end of Aug of this year. SOL begins when the debt first goes continuously delinquent - generally 30 days AFTER your last payment. How did you issue a denial ? Was it brought in General Sessions court ??
