PA - How To File Response?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Pennsylvania -

I've been served with papers in PA regarding a credit card debt, and I want to file a response. Where can I find a legal sample to use? Do I then file the response with the Prothonotary and also mail a copy (certified) to the lawyer representing the cc company?

Thanks a million! What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I suggest seeking out one or more lawyers (you can start with that link "Find an Attorney" in the corner of each post in this forum section). Many lawyers offer a free initial consultation. Make an appointment (usually half an hour) and bring in all your paperwork and evidence. The lawyer can often tell you the basics on how to file a response. And you can find out how much their fee will be to represent you, or file some of the paperwork for you. And if you cannot afford a lawyer, they are often a good start to get a referral to a free legal assistance clinic.
