paying bill yet won't leave alone

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona
I have been faithfully paying a medical bill for 4 years. Now the collection company wants to change the terms and have me pay a big chunk. What can they do to me if I don't do as they ask? They set the amount/terms with me 4 years ago. Do I have to change now?

Do you have the original terms in writing? Do those terms have any statement that you agreed to that gives the creditor the right to change the terms?
