Any ideas on how to negotiate a past due with these people, and keep the lights on. Everybody else is working with people with debts in this economy but PGE.

I just bought some wonderfully scented candles at Bed Bath and Beyond. OP can kill two birds with one stone. He can have light and it can make his house smell pretty.

Seriously now...OP have you tried negotiating with them? What did they say when you called them, and how far behind are you?
