Please give me a chance

Hi! My nickname is Cloe..and well here's my story..the short
version. I'm in debt because I decided to let a friend borrow a lot
of money from me. This friend was in a lot of trouble at the time
and I can't really disclose what kind of trouble, but he promised to
pay me back within 3-5 months and I was sure of it myself.
Unfortunately, something bad happened to him and he's lost all of his
money..and fell into a deep pit of depression and worse of all--
having suicidal thoughts.

Am I stupid? Maybe. But I know this friend of mine is a good person
and will pay me back..in the long run, he's just going through a very
difficult time right now.

Now, I'm just asking for some help--not a free handout. I'm looking
for some really kind, compassionate people who are willing to donate
whatever they can to help me out..whether it's a DOLLAR or two...if
you can find it in your hearts to help me out, I'm grateful as it
is!

Everyone deserves a second chance..and most importantly, it never
hurts to try something..and it doesn't hurt to ask for help. I've
always been a believer...quite a determined one..so it's hard for me
to give up..so I'm not giving up now. I hope you also give me a
chance...so please if you want to know more about my situation read
the FAQ and browse the site and make a small contribution. Thank You!

Some people - you're on a posting where people are having financial TROUBLES asking for a hand out!!!!!!!!!!
What the heck?

Your "friend" who borrowed money from you - you are NEVER going to see a penny of that back - he is thinking of suicide and you think he's going to pay you back? HELLO. I bet you're on his payback list - If he's suicidal and he is your friend you should be channeling your engery to helping him! HELLO again.

I would do anything for my best friend- almost - but I would never loan LARGE sums of money, which is what this sounds like.
Never "loan" more than you can afford, because that way when you don't get your $ back, you're out your "fun" money or whatever.
Um - hello - so let's see - a donation?
I think not, I'd donate to the Red Cross before I send a buck to a total stranger************** for all any of us knows this is a total scam for ____ (fill in the blank) money.

Sorry - my guess is you're barking up the wrong tree here.
