Please HelpWhat is the name of your state? VA Back in 98, bought a car. a year later crashed it and let it go into repo and never paid on it after. I moved to CO. Now 2004, got a call about that it has gone to judgement for the remaining 5298.08 in Apr of 2000. I was never served nor notified of this. Plus the judgement has a 12% interest rate on it from DOJ. Now they are advising me it is now 7000. I was wondering.....since I have no assests if filing for ch.7 would be advisable or what should I do? PLEASE PLEASE help |

| Filing for bankruptcy would get rid of the judgment, yes. If you have no assets and little or no disposable income, then Ch 7 will likely work. If this is your only debt, I wouldn't BK over 1 debt.
