Please Help me!!!!

What is the name of your state?undefinedWhat is the name of your state?NY

Yesterday I went to use my VISA/Debit card at a store and come to find out that there were insufficient funds in my account because someone had put a levy on my checking account. As it was Saturday, there wasn't anyone in that department to speak with. They Told me to call back on Monday. As I will tommorrow. I had no idea that I was even being sued, but if indeed I was, and a judgement was issued against me, What should I know about getting rid of this levy and paying the debt back? I assume that a law firm attained this judgement, what kind of deal should I try to arrange for payment? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Could have been an error, are you behind in CP, do you owe the IRS?

You sure this isn't a CC debt and you have been notified prior and ignored the situation and a default judgment was entered against you?

The time for arrangements was BEFORE the judgment if indeed it was legally obtained against you.

You could close the account but I suspect they could find your new one or garnish your wages.

I could have ignored the notices to be honest!

They have already removed any money that was in my account. It is definitely not IRS related. The bank will give me the info regarding who put the lein on my account tommorrow.
