question

What is the name of your state?KY

I was looking at the sol in the state of Kentucky and saw this....

Breach of sales contract: 4 years (KRS 355.2- 725).

Would this cover a computer purchased through Gateway through MBNA?

Thanks in advance and sorry for such a silly question but I had not noticed this on the Kentucky SOL list before?

That depends. Do you have a contract with Gateway or MBNA for the sale?

the purchase was made through gateway but the financing was put through MBNA....I did not know if this would be the same as a credit card or not.

This is not a sales contract. It sounds more like an open account (similar to credit card debt). The SOL for this type of debt is 5 years from the date of last activity.
