Question Regarding Post Judgment Writ Of Garnishment

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MI I Have a Writ for garnishment judgment on my credit file from 2002 . This Is for an old utility bill from several years back. How can I get this removed from my credit file forever. I was told the collection agency may try to re-open it so that the sol starts over again and I really don't want that to happen . This company is a thorn to my credit report. Thanks Rob
