I recent called one of my creditors to make a partial payment on some furniture and informed them that I would call back on Friday to pay the remaining balance of what was owed. They informed me that they would not take the payment and that if the whole amount was not paid today they would be here tomorrow to pick it up. Is there anything that I can do because of the refusal of paymentWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

So, let me get this straight. You purchased furniture that you could not pay for at the time you purchased it and now you think the furniture store is being unreasonable for wanting to wait for their money. Unless I'm missing something, I don't think you have much of a claim.
