Repo QuestionWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WI I was in a bind and took out a title loan. I was late on the payment and knew they had started proceedings for repo. I called them on Tuesday and asked if I could have until Saturday at 2 pm (when they close) to pay off the agreed amount of 600.00 the manager of the place told me yes that was fine and she would stop the repo in the meantime. I woke up this morning and found that the car had been taken in the middle of the night, and when I called them they said it was too late and I would have to pay 1600 to get it back. Does the latest verbal agreement supercede the initial signed contract? Or do I have no options here? |

| Without something in writing, you don't have much of a case.
