Resilevering Act?????California~ The judge had told me to look into something called the "resilevering act" don't know how to spell it, but that is what it sounded like. He told the people that where at the hearing representing the attorneys to look it up too. It has to do with the having to have the contract that was signed for them to be able yo be suing me for the money owed? If this makes no sense I will explain more. I can not find this word anywhere, I have called the court house and several legal people around here and no one seems to want to help me or they have no idea what it is. Anyone know? Thanx |

| The word makes no sense. Perhaps he meant the ROSENTHAL Act ??? I know there is such an Act in CA that pertains to consumer law. Try this: http://info.sen.ca.gov/cgi-bin/displaycode?section=civ&group=01001-02000&file=1788-1788.3 CA CIVIL CODE SECTION 1788-1788.3 1788. This title may be cited as the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. You might want to read this too: http://www.calcollectors.net/most_commonly_asked_questions.htm
