What is the name of your state?New York

2 months ago a lien was placed on my bank account and money was withdrawn. approx half the debt was taken from my bank account. Now I have enough money to pay off the rest of the debt. Before paying it off I would like to know what kind of information to include in my letter to the law firm/Collection agency .What should I write in my letter explaining that I would like to pay off the remainder of the balance. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

In my letter should I be asking the Law firm to delete my account from the credit report or paid in full etc?
