| Sheriff Sale What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA
I received notice from a law office regarding credit card debt of $2,893 as a judgment was entered against me. They said I have ten days to pay or they will take necessarry steps to have a sheriff conduct a sale of real and or personal property. 1.) Can a sheriff come into my home and take items, if so how can I avoid this action? What can I do? As my daughter and her husband live here w/ us and pay us rent, is there any way to protect our personal property? 2.) If I send payments to the law office for this account can they still proceed if payments are accepted? I'm in hardship out of work, therefore I'm thinking $10 -$20 payments.... a month. 3.) Can they take your auto? 4.) What advice can you give me regarding this problem.
Thank you,
