    Statutes of Limitations

    What is the name of your state?Texas. What is the statutes of limitations on credit card debt in texas? As an unsecured loan can they attach bank accounts and liens on homesteads?

    I think it is four years in Texas. But, I am not sure if they can attatch it to a bank account.

    SOL for all debt in the State of Texas is 4 years. However, a credit card is considered an open account, not an unsecured loan. Yes they can garnish or levy your bank account, but they have to take you to court first.

    They cannot touch your home.
