Store Closed

I lived in Minnesota and was moving to Florida on 08-11-05 put my nearly new furniture , in a consignment store. It sold quickly and was told they would send me my check Oct. 14th. Well no check and many phone calls and no answers. Now the phone is disconnected and I'm now in Florida. They owe me $866. This store was open for 6 years. Small claims court? How when I'm in FL. I want my money. Please help me Barb

What contact/discussions have you had with the store for the last 4 1/2 YEARS that they have not paid you?

Lots of problems.... starting with what type of business were they?? If they were a proprietorship, then the individual owner would be liable and you would have to sue him/her.
If a corporation, then you would have to sue them.... and not a whole lot of hope since their 'assets' (if any) are probably already 'disposed' of (usually to the 'owner').

Then, if you were to decide to sue, you would have to do it in MN.

Your choice if it is worth it.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
