What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state?Texas Am being sued over a credit card debt that is about 4 years old. It was bought from the bank and now I am being sued by a collection attorney. I had by-pass operation about the time I started having problems with the finances. I am now working with other debtors and have resolved a lot of problems. I had offered to make minimal payments on this debt until I got some of the other debts cleared but it was all or nothing to them. Now they are suing asking for 16.99% interest and attorney's fees of about $2,300. Can they attach my bank account or lien my house?
