sued in court of common pleas....The credit union is suing me for 15,000.00 for a car that they repossessed over a year ago. I make too much money to afford a public defender. I would like to avoid going to court all together. Would it be out of line or even possible if I were to call their lawyer and try to settle with them so that I do not have to go to court? I was laid off from my employer and recently returned to work just yesterday there is no way I will be able to get off work to go to court. And to pay court fees FORGET IT lol. |
