summons not received

I'm in debt about $15,000 spread out over 5 credit cards. 2 of these accounts I opened before I was married. We got behind on paying these and joined a consumer credit agency that we paid and dispersed the money. After having a baby we could no longer pay, so we got out of the program. We haven't paid anything since June 2003. We joined a debt settlement group which we are paying and have a separate savings to eventually pay off our creditors. We signed a limited power of attorney and all creditors spoke to them. It was working great, but about 2 weeks ago my mother called me and told me the sherriff was looking for me and he had a summons. She didn't give them my address and I've not heard anything more since. I don't know which creditor this is with, but I've been married for 5 years and all the creditors know my current address and name. My mom said the summons used my maiden name and old address. Should I be doing anything about this? What are my rights if they aren't using current information? Thanks.
