Take over car payment scam

What is the name of your state? Arizona
I took over payments on a vehicle last September. From the word go it was a nightmare. It was done through a managment company which whom I was to make the monthly payments to and they in turn would pay the lien holder of the registered owner of the vehicle. They went out of business five months after I purchased the vehicle. I had paid for 2 years registration on the vehicle etc..... Make a long story short the payments were not made on the vehicle and they came to my home and repossessed the vehicle. So be it at this point! All of my personal belongings were in the vehicle. Some of which are high confidential and private court documents as well as my daughters school books. The repo company is refusing to allow me access to the vehicle(even though I have the contract stating I took over the payments) to recover my personal belongings. My job is in jepordy!!! I have called the lien holder and the original registered owner and the police and no one will help me get my things. What can I do???? The repo company states it is against the law for them to let anyone but the registered owner access the vehicle even though everything in the vehicle is mine. Several of the items such as my box of business cards, insurance papers, organizer, briefcase, laptop etc. have my name all over them so it is very apparent that they belong to me. The registered owner has moved out of state and has no intention of coming to Arizona to help me recover my articles.

What can I do???????? I need advice and quick before I get fired from my job!!!!!!!!!

My email address is smlundine@yahoo.com
