Taking money from checking and savings after judgement

What is the name of your state?KY

After a judgement, how much money can a debt collector take from your checking or savings account?

Enough to satisfy the judgment - more, if you're just a generous person.

Chien gave you your answer!

ALL OF IT! Until the amount of the debt, including court fees, serving fees, interest, and attorneys fees are all paid.

Yep! They don't care where the money is coming from, they just want the money you owe them.

The only incomes which are exempt are from Social Security, and some retirement funds, even then they can still seize the account, and the burden is on the account holder to prove they are exempt incomes, and fight to get their money back.

Best bet is to cancel that direct deposit ASAP!
