What is the name of your state? Texas

Being pursued by a doctor's collection agent who claims that, in the case of medical bills, he has 7 years in which to file suit in Texas. Can anyone verify this?

Simple answer... have him provide a statutory reference to support his SOL claim??
Of course, he can't, because he is NOT correct.

The allowed limitation on actions for Texas can be found at:
http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/statutes/docs/CP/content/htm/cp.002.00.000016.00.htm
And you will see there is NOTHING in Texas with a seven year limit.

Yes and no. 16008 & 9 provide 10 years; but they are contruction-related. what about fraudulent concealment? If a person "hides" and you cant find them, then what?

And there is NOTHING in your post to even suggest that they would apply. Why would YOU think they would??

Your post and responses are getting 'weird'. So, rather than play '100 questions' and try to guess at what you are trying to do.... how about a little 'up front' information on the REAL circumstances you are asking about???
