two judgments against two individualsWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? VA I have two judgments against two individuals. The first individual lives in South Carolina and the judgment was granted to me on 03/03/2008 and interested rate of 6% from 04/23/2008. The second individual lives in New York and the judgment was granted to me on 06/16/2004 of interested rate 9% from 06/16/2004, my questions are the following: Do I have to transfer them to local attorney to handle them? If I can do it myself, what would be the steps to do it for each state? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |

| You will have to get a lawyer in the state and county where the defendants live (if, that is, the defendants have any money). Or you may want to sell the judgments to a collections agency. If the people don't have any money, then forget it.
