I live in Nevada, I was laid off and began collecting unemployment last yeart. I worked at a new job about 3 weeks before I stopped collecting unemployment. I owe about 600 to NV unemployment.
Now I work in California while still living in Las Vegas. The entire company will be laid off and I haven't found a job yet.

Ive been told that I would have to file for unemployment in California since that was the state that I worked in. However, will I be able to receive those benefits while still owing the state of Nevada?
How would it work, would I have to pay NV back before receiving benefits, or would the state of Nevada receive what I owe them before I can collect benefits from California. Thank you in advance.
