Wage GarnishmentWhat is the name of your state? California Eskanos & Adler has sued me in Los Angeles County, which is approx 500 miles from where I live. The served me at an address I never lived. Myself and Eskanos are located in the Bay Area (500 miles from L.A.). They are now garnishing my wages. Is this legal? |

| Yep. Though you can try to get the judgment dismissed due to their filing in the wrong place (jurisdiction), but that will likely NOT work since the court will LIKELY rule that the time to raise jurisdiction was BEFORE the hearing.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

| But, he couldn't possibly have known about the hearing since E&A, in their typical tactic, used a BOGUS ADDRESS for service. I'd attack the service, especially if you can produce proof you never lived at the address they used.
