Wage Garnishment but debt not mine

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado
I have a garnishment against my wages. I have on more than one occassion contacted the law firm the judgement resides with and have requested information pertaining to the original debt. They are unable to provide the requested information. What can I do to get this garnishment stopped? Thus far, they have received over 1,400 dollars and I do not see any escape.

For clarification purposes, what do you mean that the debt is not yours?
