Warrant in debt

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia

I have trial tomorrow, but I am not contesting it. Do I have to appear? What will happen if I do not show?

If the next step is a garnishment, how long after the judgement is placed will my creditor be able to obtain a garnishment? Will the court notify me that my creditor obtained a garnishment?

Thank you.

You will lose the case on default.

Same day if they want.

update

I didn't appear, but I sent the court a letter about a month ago explaining that the plaintiff refused to validate. Apparently the court took my letter into consideration and set a new trial date so the plaintiff must submit a "Bill of Particuars". The creditor MUST validate if requested to do so.

My new trial date is in about two months.

Thanks for the "help".

Fyi

In virigina, they cannot garnish the same day. The creditor must wait 21 days before filing for a garnishment. Look it up**************
