What options do i have

What is the name of your state? Mississippi

I have received a letter saying that I owe for something that I paid for, however, I (stupid) paid in cash and cannot locate a receipt! It has gone to a collection agency called Ryan and Reed in Houston TX! I want to know what options do I have! They have been harassing me with threats of seizing my car which is cosigned for! Please Help!!! Immediately!!! Please tell me what to do!!!!

Remember, they need to prove to you that the debt is valid. Send a DV letter Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested (CMRRR) with that request and what ever you do - don't talk to them by phone! They have ways of working people up to the point that they would turn over their first born child!

What happens next?

Thanks so much for that info! After that, what's my next step? This occured 4 years ago, is there an SOL in Mississippi for this?

There is always a SOL, but I don't know what Mississippi's is. Google for your state statutes for debt collection and go from there.
