Wife Liable for Husband's Judgement?

What is the name of your state? Florida

My mother is 83 years old, her husband of 40 years the same age. 12 years ago my stepfather got envolved with a couple of developers as a saleman for a commerical real estate deal. He also signed on as a 1% partner. The deal failed and my mother and stepfather left to live in North Carolina. While gone he and the other partners were sued and a judgement was awarded against them jointly and severally. Two years ago they bought a condo and moved back to Florida and my mother learned about the judgement (I assume my stepfather already knew about it). The value of the judgement plus interest is over $1MM. My stepfather is now in a nursing home covered primarily by VA and medicaid benefits. She has about $100,000 in total assets plus the $180K condo which is currently titled in joint name. She has been harassed by a collection agency that contracted on the judgement.
Is her condo at risk of having a lien put against it, or if she has to sell the condo later are the proceeds at risk? Would she be protected if she put the condo in her name alone?
