If SSD benefits are approved and you decide not to take them, does that prevent you applying again at a later time? According to my latest Social Security benefit report, I would be eligible for $1302 per month in disability. I live in San Francisco and that would be well under the poverty limit. Would I be able to work a menial, low stress job for extra income? What would those income limits be?
