My husband became disabled in January 2008, he began recieving benefits via his Private Disability Insurance through work.

He filed for SS Disability and was approved very quickly the first time.
We got a lump sump for him and both of our children.
We immediately paid off our credit card debt and our medical bills which was HUGE.

We talked to the person at the Private Disability Insurance Company today who told us we signed a contract saying we had to reimburse them every penny. Clearly we can't do that, because we have spend the majority of it.

What should we do?
Can they sue us? If so, what would the process be?

Thanks In Advance!!!!
